Exploring the Mechanisms of Internationalization

Companies are the worker bees of all market economies. They hire, produce, export and invest domestically and abroad. We help firms to search for and identify the most suitable types of internationalization support – to make a real difference to realizing superior and sustainable profitability from overseas venturing. Available support measures include, public support for participation in trade fairs, training or consultancy services, recruitment, credit and export insurance or investment in new equipment at home or abroad.

Business Related Organizations (BROs) are membership bodies that act as channels to improve the efficiency and take-up of policies, and to speak to official bodies on the part of their firms. We work with several business associations to help them with the process of internationalization, starting at the beginning with searching for public incentives, making successful applications, and reporting requirements.

Most economies have in place national policy to promote the internationalization of domestic firms. We help to evaluate the “designing-in” of policy effectiveness – that is to reach target firms effectively, and to ensure the active participation of only those firms most likely to benefit from the policy. We are working with several governmental bodies, in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark and Italy, turning their firms into successful international players.
